Hi there! I'm Els.
I love making games.
For as long as I can remember I felt a need to understand games.
Beyond simply mastering play,
I wanted to know how they work.
I started by creating mods for games. Simple little things; adjusting inventory systems or building small levels - the work captivated me.
I was told making games wasn't a 'real' career.
I didn't let myself get serious about game development for a long time.
Despite that, the only pursuits I've ever latched onto are the ones that got me closer to making games, even if I didn't realize it at the time.
Learning 3D art, creating TTRPG systems, programming, creative writing and trope analysis - all of it was in service to my true love.
This work matters.
